What's in it for kids by age

Little ones love Fantasyland and meeting characters, school kids want the bigger rides, and teens head for Avengers Campus.

  • Toddlers (1–3): Fantasyland rides, parades, shows and the castle.
  • Preschoolers (3–6): World of Frozen, Toy Story area, Peter Pan and character meets.
  • School kids (6–12): Ratatouille, Big Thunder Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean and Frozen.
  • Teens: Avengers Campus, coasters and evening shows.

Disneyland Paris with kids: top attractions and new areas

Plan World of Frozen early in the day and spread the classics over a second day.

World of Frozen recreates Arendelle around a new lake, with a boat ride through the story, live shows and moments with Anna and Elsa. Expect long queues in the first weeks; arrive at opening time or check if the park uses a virtual queue or paid fast-track options.

In Disneyland Park, the classics remain the heart of the resort: Sleeping Beauty Castle, It's a Small World, Peter Pan's Flight, Pirates of the Caribbean and Big Thunder Mountain. Evening shows at the castle are a highlight for many families.

Practical: parking, prams and baby change

Take the RER A train or a shuttle to Marne-la-Vallée – Chessy, which stops right at the park gates.

  • Parking: large paid car park; arrive early on busy days.
  • Prams: allowed in the parks and available to rent; park them outside rides.
  • Baby change: baby care centres in both parks with changing tables and quiet rooms.
  • Rider swap: lets parents take turns on rides that small children cannot do.
  • Height limits: check them before promising a ride.

Where to eat nearby

Book table-service restaurants in advance, or eat quick-service meals at off-peak times. Bring water bottles and snacks for queues. Disney Village outside the parks has more options. Find kid-friendly restaurants in the area on the Kid.ooo map.

Alternatives if it's busy

If the new area is too busy, mix in a day at a nearby attraction. SEA LIFE Paris in Val d'Europe is a short walk or bus ride from the parks. Parc Astérix, north of Paris, is a fun French theme park with a different style. In Paris, the Cité des sciences et de l'industrie and the Jardin d'Acclimatation are great for younger kids.
